Charlie Ballard leads TripAdvisor's Strategic Insights team, using both external studies and TripAdvisor's billions of monthly traveler research data points to better understand the changing world of travel and leverage this understanding to help TripAdvisor's top clients stay ahead of the rapidly changing global travel and tourism marketplace.

Before Charlie joined TripAdvisor in 2013 he was a part of the MBA Leadership Programme at BT Group with a role as Head of Organisational Health. He started out working with large scale consumer data at Forrester Research in Boston before moving on to lead digital marketing agency measurement and analytics with multiple global clients including General Motors, American Express, AT&T, BT, Fidelity and Comcast. Charlie holds a MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona.
